FAQ's

1. WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

* Valet Trash Services:
Homes- We place your trash bin on the curb and back after collection.
Apartments- You set your trash outside your door, at specified times and we will take it to an onsite dumpster for you.

* Clean a Can: We will clean and deoderize your garbage cans (indoor and outdoor).

* Recycling: We will gladly accept recyclable items (within our policy).

* Junk Removal: We will pick up junk the same say.

* Bulk Removal: (Mattress, Couch/Sofa, Refrigerator) by appointment only.

* Mobile Detailing: We will come to your residence or place of business and wash your car or custom detail to your liking.

* Clean a can- Complimentary service for Homes: Any trash left behind after picked up by garbage man, we will dispose of.

2. WHEN IS MY PAYMENT DUE?

Payment is due on the 1st Of the month, prior to service. If payment is not received by the 3rd of the month, there will be a late charge fee of $5.


NOTE: Setting up reoccurring payments is available.

3. IS THERE A WEIGHT LIMIT ON BAGS (APARTMENT CUSTOMERS)?

Yes, each bag must be under 30lbs and must be able to maintain its contents without tearing or leaking. If bag happens to tear or leak, there will be a charge of $5 added to your bill.

4. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST FOR WEEKLY SERVICE?

Our rates depend on your preferences, location, pay options, and services requested.

5. WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY BEFORE SERVICES ARE RENDERED?

We prepare our route in advance for monthly customers, and daily for new customers.

6. WHAT DAYS DO YOU OFFER VALET TRASH SERVICE?

5 days a week. There is an additional fee for weekend trash pick up requests for Apartments residents. You choose how many days of the week you would like for us to either take your garbage to the dumpster or take your Garbage can to the curb.

7. Can you take more than one Bin to the Curb?

Yes. Elite runners can add your recyclable and yard waste bins to the curb for an additional fee of $5 per bin.

8. Will I be notified once the Trash, Recycle, or Yard waste bins are placed on the curb?

Yes. Once the bin(s) are placed on the curb, you will receive a text or email.

9. What time will you take my trash, recycle or yard waste bin to the curb and back?

We will place your trash bin and any additional bins on the curb 24 hours before collection and return back to its original location between 11:00am-6:00pm the following day.

10. DO YOU OFFER PARTY & HOLIDAY CLEANUP SERVICE?

Yes. We will come and clean Birthday parties, receptions, Holiday gatherings, etc.

11. CAN I SHARE SERVICE WITH NEIGHBORS OR FRIENDS?

Sharing garbage service is PROHIBITED. If suspected, services will not be rendered.

12. DO YOU TAKE BOXES?

Yes, we accept boxes with your recycling if they are flattened.

13. CAN I START MY SERVICE ANYTIME DURING THE MONTH?

Yes

14. DO YOU PICK UP LARGE ITEMS?

Yes. We offer special pick-up by appointment only for Bulk Items. There is a $15 minimum fee to visit your location/property, and then a price is given for the service.

15. ARE THERE ITEMS YOU WILL NOT PICK UP FOR RECYCLING OR JUNK REMOVAL ON A REGULAR SERVICE DAY?

We DO NOT accept tins of paint, any type of tire, batteries and auto parts, fire wood, oil of any kind, unbagged rubbish, tree limbs, swimming pool liners, toilet stools. (All items not listed are collectors judgement)

We will pick up furniture and appliances at an additional cost. Please call 24 hours in advance to make Bulk Junk removal arrangements.

16. WILL I GET A REFUND FOR PREPAID SERVICES AND WHEN CAN I CANCEL MY SERVICE?

Yes, once requested, 72 hours in advance, all refunds will be based on the base rate of service. Cancellation of any service, must be made prior to the 1st of the month.

17. DO YOU HAVE A LIMIT ON HOW MUCH CAN BE RECYCLED/PICKED UP?

Yes, we ask that you limit your bags to 6 bags per week for (Apartment Residents). Each recyclable bag must weigh no more than 20 lbs. We ask that you set your recyclables outside your door with your garbage to be picked up. Please label the Recylable bag, as recyclables.

18. WHAT TIME WILL MY GARBAGE BE COLLECTED?

Apartments- garbage will be picked up at times specified and must be placed outside your door one hour before pickup.
Homes- We will come and set you trash on the curb 24 hours before pick up.
NOTE: Collectors are not allowed to wait for customers to bring out garbage, due to the possibility of route changes/schedules.

19. CAN I PAY THE DRIVER OR TOTER?

No, Customers are responsible for payments reaching the office. We prefer all payments to be mailed, paid online, or by phone.

20. WILL MY RATE BE PRORATED DEPENDING ON WHEN I START MY SERVICE DURING THE MONTH?

Yes

21. ITS TRASH DAY AND I HAVE ALOT MORE THAN A FEW ITEMS AND I KNOW IT WILL TAKE MORE THAN ONE PERSON TO HAUL IT TO THE CURB. CAN I SCHEDULE A PICK-UP TO HAVE THIS MATERIAL TAKEN TO THE CURB?

Yes. If its more than the usual (2-3 cans) , you can schedule a special curb your garbage pick-up. The fee depends on the amount of trash to be curbed. It is your responsibility to know what can and cannot be taken to the curb.

22. HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT/SERVICE?

23. WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE JUNK YOU PICK UP?

We recycle up to 75% of unwanted items.

24. DO I HAVE TO PACK UP AND PREPARE MY JUNK?

Absolutely not, part of our valued services is that we do everything for you., including hauling away, packaging, and leaving the premises spotless.

25. CAN YOU DO THE JOB FOR ME IF I'M NOT ON SITE?

Absolutely, you don't need to be there provided we have secure access to your trash.

26. WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also Take payments via phone. 

NOTE: Setting up reoccurring payments is available.

27. DO YOU CHARGE FOR ESTIMATES?

NO

28. CAN YOU GIVE ME A PRICE BEFORE YOU ARRIVE?

We do not provide set prices before we arrive or over the phone, however we can provide you with a quote or free estimate (not a set price) . We do our best to give you a base estimate depending on the information you give us over the phone. We want to provide our Customers with the best possible price, for any of our ELITE SANITATION services. Remember, you are under no obligation and work doesn't begin until price is agreed upon by both parties.

29. WILL YOU REMOVE ONE JUNK ITEM?

Yes, depending on the item and Collector's judgement.

30. IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL FEE TO TAKE BULK ITEMS (OTHER THAN GARBAGE CAN) TO THE CURB ON TRASH PICK UP DAY?

Yes, Bulk items include: Household Rugs, Mattress, Dressers, Sofa, etc.

31. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE THE PROPER GARBAGE IS CURBED?

The CUSTOMER is responsible for knowing the material placed on the garbage. ELITE SANITATION is responsible for making sure the trash containers are curbed before trash pick up.

32. IF MY GARBAGE CANNOT BE CURBED, DUE TO THE WEATHER ( E.G., SNOW STORM, TORNADO, HURRICANE), WILL I RECEIVE A CREDIT OR REFUND?

No, you will not receive a credit or refund for circumstances beyond our control, (holidays, increment weather, snow, tornado, hurricane, etc.,), and customers not setting their garbage out, in time for collection.

33. REFUNDS

Refunds will ONLY be granted, per customer's request. Early termination fees will apply. Refunds may be prorated or expensed for service granted and a minimum of $5.00 service charge. No refunds or account adjustments will be offered for service not rendered due to reasons beyond collectors' or companys' control, such as holidays, increment weather, or for customers not putting garbage out in time for collection.

34. SERVICE INTERRUPTION

There may be service interruptions due to increment weather, holidays and emergencies out of our control. Service will resume as announced or on the following service day. Unpaid accounts, containers not at curbside, unidentified containers, animals, insects or other incidents may cause your service to be interrupted.

35. PAYMENTS & LATE PAYMENTS

PAYMENTS are due on the 1st of each Month, prior to the month of service. All prepaid fees are accepted as contract for service, for the duration of the prepaid months. A LATE FEE of $5.00 (Residential accounts) $10.00 (Commercial accounts) will be charged if payment is not received by the 3rd (grace period) of the month. SERVICE may be discontinued if payment is not received by the 15th day of the service month. A $20.00 restoration fee may be applied after service is stopped, to collect old garbage, junk or recyclable items. ****IF you will be late making a payment, please inform ELITE SANITATION 48 hrs in advance****

36. CANCELLATION OF SERVICES

Cancellation of any services must be made prior to the first of the month over the phone. All refunds will be based on the base rate of service.

37.MISSED APPOINTMENTS

You will not be refunded for missed appointments, such as, not setting your trash outside your door on your scheduled pickup day. Service will resume the next business day.
